B.M. Birla Science Center and technological museum is located in the heart of the Hyderabad on the hillock of Adarsh Nagar.. The Science Center consists few subdivisions such as a , a Science Museum,Planetarium and The Center for Applicable Mathematics and Computer Sciences. The Birla Science centre provides the Quality fundamental knowledge on science and also spread the awareness among people. . Birla Planetarium has a section of the science centre.On 8th September 1985 Late Mr. N.T. Rama Rao opened this is a beautiful structure. The planetarium is equiped with a fully computerized projector to view the sky. Everyday shows are held in both Telugu and English on various motif of astronomy- stars,comets,constellations, meteoroids, rotating solar system.

Planetarium: 10.30 A.M. to 3.00 P.M. Closed:Every month last thursday Science Museum: 10.30 A.M. to 8.15 P.M. Closed : Every month last thursday.
